Dr. Rachel Skocylas, MD, CCFP, ABOM, is a dedicated preventative health physician with a deep passion for functional and integrative medicine. Her journey began at the University of British Columbia, where she earned her medical degree. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she undertook her residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. Her commitment to comprehensive care led her to obtain board certification in obesity medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM).
Known affectionately as “Dr. Rachel” by her patients, she remains an enthusiastic and perpetual learner. She enriches her expertise through participation in the Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona and enrolls in courses offered by the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Rachel is an unwavering proponent of preventative medicine, empowering patients to actively manage their well-being.
